Abet and Read Tech

The adult education division provides:

Training for educators/ tutors from level one to level five, in English, Zulu, Xhosa or numeracy. Other languages available.
Supply of Abet material and equipment for trainees and learners. The trainees material is sufficient for a class of up to 20 learners. The learners material is available in the 11 official languages - the numeracy level one (counting concepts) is in the mother tongue.
Monitoring and back up programmes, to ensure successful outcomes.
Workshops and seminars to highlight changes in policy, introduce new programmes or brush up on skills.
Produce customer specific material.
Assessment of tutors and learners using manual methods and the computerised visagraph eye movement recorder of Read Techs computer programmes for perceptual accuracy, comprehension, reading fluency or skim/ scan development.
