The student may choose distance learning or full time study, where it is available.

Students on the accounting technician course will acquire the skills and knowledge to record transactions and prepare financial statements. They will work at a supervisory level, providing service to SMME's and management.

Examinations:

These are held throughout the country in June and November.

The exam centres are in most major cities. Exams can be written in smaller centres if premises are available. This may lead to an additional exam cost.

In 2000/ 2001, we have identified a need for those with an accounting knowledge, and have developed the accounting technician course in conjunction with SAICA (South African Institute of Chartered Accountants). This course will provide the foundation for a bookkeeping business or for further study.
